I’m an illustrator and lifelong nature enthusiast with a fondness for insects and a profound attraction to life in and around the water.

I have always been captivated by the strange beauty and delicacy in the forms of invertebrates, and enjoy creating intimate portraits of larvae and other lesser-loved creepy crawlies to celebrate their charisma.

I earned my BFA in illustration, and am a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators. My work has included projects for the Field Museum of Natural History, Shedd Aquarium, Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, Whole Foods Market and others.

I currently divide my time between Madison WI and Chicago, and recently enjoyed a few months at the Field Museum illustrating Ordovician fossil invertebrates for the Geology Collections.
